About Solid Waste Management Research

Indonesia's frontline areas reflect the life of the country, including its waste management. Therefore, a responsible waste management in the frontline areas is a necessity to develop a sustainable frontline. This program aims to implement responsible waste management system in 7 Indonesian borderline areas. This program focuses on community capacity building so that waste burning and the behavior of unethical waste dumping can be reduced.

This capacity building program is expected to nurture an understanding in the local community about the importance of their involvement in a waste management system, the benefits of responsible waste management implementation and the direct impact of not implementing a proper waste management.
