Styrofoam Recycling Best Practice in Indonesia

Currently, most of the styrofoam waste are still included into the conventional waste management flow, which leads to the landfill. This is mainly because there are not many waste recycling actors who know the recycling potential of styrofoam, thus they think that styrofoam is a residue. Taking this matter into account, this research aims to identify various opinions and alternatives related to styrofoam recycling, as well as identify the best practices for recycling styrofoam in Indonesia.Hopfully, more and more people will start to realize the value of styrofoam waste, and that the rate of styrofoam recycling in Indonesia can increase.
